2d to 3d part 2
A more refined sketch of my idea. Where the painting, I decided, will have a 3d effect on it, so from far away it will look 3d but from a closer look it will be 3d, some images closer and others further away giving an interest to it. I was thinking to put a curtain over the little models of the trees that the branches soon latch onto, but decided against it as I think it is unnecessary.
2d to 3d idea
My idea, using the mixture of both illusionary patterns and transformation. I decided to do a drawing/painting which seems to come alive as it gradually becomes a physical model rather than just a painting. Deciding on a forest type painting with all sorts of different animals and changing from pencil to coloured pencil to gouche and then to acrylic paintsfrom which the branches will soon turn 3d with the help of wire and the monkeys upon the tree shall be on the physical tree as well, and then the wire tree will then connect to a tree made of maybe perspects? that will be held by shelves of perspects, but from first glance it will be covered by a curtain which will have another picture of a forest
Different material use, bizarre, existing, surprising
This image I find interesting in the sense it is a huge clock but instead of numbers around the clock it has things to do throughout the day, and the hand of the clock has a seat, presumably for a person to sit upon as he goes throughtout the day from thing to thing around the clock. it uses interesting items for this clock that is not usually expected. Sandro del Prete-Hidden, imaginary, illusionary/Alive, lively, imaginary
These images I find quite interesting as the paintings are doing something you never quite expect. In this case, the painting of Leonardo Da Vinci is painting a picture of himself (from http://psylux.psych.tu-dresden.de/i1/kaw/diverses20Material/www.illusionworks.com/html/art_of_sandro_del_prete.html) and the picture of the rose, although it may just seem like any ordinary rose, as you look closer to the tip of the rose, you will see a couple kissing in the rose.(http://www.planetperplex.com/en/item149)
forms n shadows-Transforming
in this, the top image is of an image that if you will see a frog but rotate that image and you will get a horse. which is quite interesting as you never would expect that to comout of it. This image was taken from http://mindbluff.com/frog.jpg This changes the form of the image you are looking at just by simply rotating the page and it creates a different image that is unexpected.
The image below it however intrigues me much more as you llook at it you will see a man playing a saxophone in the black negative space, but as you look closer you will see a pretty ladys face in the positive space in the image, which give you quite a surprise in which I quite like. This image was taken from http://mindbluff.com/bbbb.gif Through the one shape two images come out depending on which way you look at the image, the negative or positive space. which is interesting.

sketches- illusionary patterns and forms
These are a few of the sketches I drew to portray my idea. The first is not part of my idea but was me experimenting a technique that Escher has used, making a pattern, fitting into each other perfectly that looks like something, making an illusionary pattern. The second however is a rough sketch of what I wish to do. two seperate picture frames with the same scenery and same type of image, but as it is of some type of forest the branches would come out and monkeys would come out of the picture and seem to go into each picture as the picture (abstract world) and the physical world collide. Using illusionary pattern and form
The bottom picture is an unfinished picture of what one of the pictures in the frames would look like.

Alive, impossible, unreal, imaginary
Ths one also interest me as I would like to do a painting of some sort where the image comes alive and real, as if it was truly alive. Where it comes from paper to a physical object, but then returning to the page. This image was derived from the book "The magic of M. C. Escher" designed by Erik The.

Abstract conceptualisation
My idea for this assignment was first to use the artist models M. C. Escher and Banksy as those where the two artists that impressed me most. Deciding to base my ideas around the abstract idea, and painting instead using digital and physical models to display my ideas in this assignment. I really want to use the idea of M. C Escher with his morphing of images in a large piece relating to each other and maybe use the idea of Banksy with making things more surprising and 3d-like even though it may be 2d, as well as bringing in the idea of M. C. Escher's work of the piece of artwork named "Reptiles", where in the image, a image of a reptile on a piece of paper comes to life and later returns to the paper. What interests me most is the mixture of different images joined together so it flows very nicely as well as the mixture of the real and the unreal and impossible.

Waterfall-Illusionary, fictional, fantasy
Interesting due the fact that this image is physically impossible so in a way is an inspiring painting, as the womans hair is like a waterfall in which horses are galloping out of. It is like merging two separate paintings into one.

Lithographs
Found out that lithographs are actually drawings that you draw in reverse on a aliuminium plate or fine-grained stone which then is printed through a lithograph machine. It is also different to etchings and wood carvings in the way that in etchings and wood carving you must incise lines into the material you are using and that lithographs use a chemically treated flat surface. As you use a different colour on a lithograph, I learned that another plate would needed to be used for each different colour. I thought I would research a bit of info on lithographs since M. C. Escher used a lithograph for his illusions. The infomation was derived from http://www.artists-press.net/art-of-lithograph.htm. Paintings and interiors interest me the most which draws me alot to the work of M. C. Escher, but am not sure yet because the digital side of things also interest me.
Illusionary pattern, impossible, fictional
Similar to the other M. C. Escher illusion image with the staircases arranged in the same type of way, but interested me more with the little details. Made with the technique of the lithograph.
